Windjammer shipmates are a motley crew of interesting folks
from all over the U.S. and abroad. You won't know if the guy or gal
sitting next to you is the CEO of a Fortune 500 Company or an average
"Joe." And the best part is... no one cares. Once your ship
sets sail, it's all about relaxing and getting into the down-island
groove. Any pretenses are quickly forgotten, and a familiar sense
of camaraderie soon develops among passengers.
If you've never felt weathered teakwood beneath your bare feet,
now's your chance. Our spacious decks are a focal point of activity.
It's where ship-mates gather to lounge, sunbathe, read, socialize,
dance and party from sun-up to sundown. Above all, the atmosphere
onboard is relaxed, casual and comfortable - a place where you can
let your hair down. At night, bring your bedding to the top deck
and sleep under the stars while the ship is under sail. We guarantee
you'll feel like a kid or a carefree pirate!

We've been cruising "down island" for more than 50 years.
Like the pirates of yesteryear, we know all the right people in
all the right places. Windjammer's tour planners spend grueling
hours researching and selecting onshore excursions that are fun,
authentic, and designed to put you face - to - face with the local
enviornment and culture. Each day, shipmates may be offered a selection
of 3-4 tours that range from mellow (snorkeling tours) to active
(hiking) to adrenaline-pumped (all-terrain vehicle jungle adventures).

Dining
aboard Windjammer is casual and relaxed. No tuxedos, ties or feather
boas required. Come in a bathing suit and t-shirt if you like- just
bring an appetite. Meals are social occasions for sharing stories
and good food in the company of interesting and friendly shipmates.
The good thing is, you can meet someone new at each meal as there
are no fixed seating arrangements. Shipmates are free to roam and
sit with whomever.

Our talented galley can even bake a birthday cake. Vegetarians need
not worry for Windjammer's chefs can whip-up more than a steaming
plate of broccoli. And for those with health concerns, we'll do
our best to
accommodate most dietary needs.

All meals are included, but feel free to explore the local culinary
scene on your own. There are many picnic and dining options: French
bistros, Creole restaurants, West Indian snack - shacks and beachfront
pubs to name a few. Take this opportunity to taste the many flavors
of the tropics.

Drinks are purchased with Windjammer doubloons that passengers buy
onboard. Our well- stocked bars offer daily specials and everyone's
favorite tropical drinks, beer, and fruit juices. Bottled water
and soft drinks are also available.

Sailing is romantic, exciting, and adventurous. Our historic ships
captivate sailors and land lubbers alike. Ducking under booms, leaning
against the railing a few feet above the sea, watching the crew
work the winches and climb the masts are constant reminders that
these are legendary vessels.

Forget the blondes! Sailors have more fun. These are lazy days for
some, filled with tropical drinks, billowing sarongs and dreamy
sunsets. For others, tall ship sailing is pure adventure. No matter
what your speed, there is no better way to explore the Caribbean
than under the sail of a Windjammer tall ship!

You owe it to yourselves. Don't wait another minute because right
now, you could be having the time of your life, sailing to exotic
Caribbean islands with your beloved. Rekindle the romance or reaffirm
your love. Celebrate a birthday, anniversary, or honeymoon. Then
again, who really needs a reason to have a good time?

It's like summer camp, but better because Mom and Dad get to go
too! From June through August, kids rule the waves on two family-friendly
ships: S.V. Legacy and S.V. Polynesia. While Junior Jammers explore,
play games, go to the beach and have a blast in our supervised Junior
Jammers Club, parents can take a deep breath, relax and enjoy each
moment of their vacation. Parents may join their children on the
adventures ashore, or meet up with their kids later in the day.
It's truly the best of both worlds.

Tall ship sailing could be the antidote for boredom. From June through
August, teens learn the ropes on two great ships, S.V. Legacy and
S.V. Polynesia. The atmosphere onboard is relaxed, fun and safe.
Teens are invited to explore the tropical, Caribbean enviornment
through excursions ashore and nautical activities onboard. There's
always something to do... snorkeling, hiking, kyaking, pizza parties,
hanging out at the beach and a whole lot more.

A tall ship is an ideal place to meet other eligible rogues and
wenches.
Cruising attracts single shipmates who already share a lot in common:
passion for adventure and a love of the sea. Remember to book early;
these
cruises fill up quickly.

Wondering what to do or where to go for your next family reunion,
pow- wow or corporate meeting? You could charter an entire ship
and island hop in the Caribbean. A private charter is a great way
to reward employees, boost morale, build friendships or impress
clients. A tall ship cruise will breathe new life and energy into
your organization or club.

Active types can enjoy their favorite sports and hobbies in the
tropics.
This is your chance to add another checkmark to your "been
there, done
that" list.
